Hello,

We are considering document management systems in house. One option is to
use the WSS component of Windows Server 2003 with MS Project Server 2003.

However our managers have got used to the idea of traffic lights alongside
all their documents to indicate proximity to due dates for documents. Our
business is very led by such documentation and it would help us greatly to
be able to include such indicators ina document library.

Can anyone advise how we might be able to do this or do we need a web part
to be created (and if so any advice on where to go would be helpful)......

Thanks

James

You should be able to do this using Frontpage 2003 and XSLT data
views. Just right-click on the standard library web part, transform it
to an XSLT data view, then do some XSLT to display your lights based
on current date and due date. Any experienced Sharepoint
customizer/developer should be able to do this.

Steffen
