Explorer View does not show documents, only the menu

Hello,

when opening the Explorer View in IE 6 under Windows XP, the view takes
very long to open, then shows only the left-hand menu but not the
documents. If I click on My Documents on the left-hand menu, they are
shown ok in the view (so, the view itself seems to work, and the view
shows quite quickly). The client services are started, user has
administrator rights.

Any hints on what may be wrong?

David,

Make sure WebClient is set to automatic and logging on with local system
account. Without this users canâ??t use explorer view:
