During my transfer process from a windows directory to
Sharepoint Services I came upon an issue on the two
client XP workstations that I was using to perform the
transfers.

If you receive the error "Insufficient system resources
exist to complete the requested service" while trying to
copy a file from a network location to Sharepoint perform
the following:

1) Unhide system folders and files

2) Delete the temporary files from: C:\Documents
and Settings\LocalService\Local Settings\Temporary
Internet Files\Content.IE5 - This is probably gigs of
information.

3) Reboot the computer and go into safe mode with
the command prompt. Go to C:\Documents and
Settings\LocalService\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.IE5 and delete index.dat.

4) Reboot computer

Obviously there is a flaw in XP that this temporary
location is not emptied nor is the dat file cleaned after
a copy process to Sharepoint (or SQL). The index.dat file
fills to 15,792KB and stops which causes the error.

Let me know if anyone knows anything further to this.
