Hi,

We have an issues list with a text box we use to enter free form text
describing the issue.

When a user comes along later to edit the issue, the description text field
is blank. They can enter a new description and save. The audit list of the
issue will have the old description, it's just not there when you edit it.

Is this by design? or is this a problem? We'd like to be able to edit text
without reentering it.

Thanks.

This is by design; it's really meant for comments for the current revision
of an issue "ticket".
