Sorry for bringing up an old post. I just ran into this problem myself,
didn't see answer posted so I'll post the answer. On our systems, many
of the Dell laptops were default set to use "Large Size (120DPI)"
settings on the graphics card properties. Reseting this to "Normal Size
(96 DPI)" fixed the problem (but now all the users are complaining that
their text is too small).
