>SharePoint doesn't look inside of documents
I have to wonder about this - in particular if I've missed the context
somewhere.
The older version of WSS - i.e. SharePoint Team Services only searched the
contents of documents and didn't search the contents of custom lists.
The present version (WSS) searches the contents of documents AND the
contents of custom lists.
The only documents WSS doesn't search (still assuming searching one site)
are documents that have been added as *attachments*.
Documents that have been added to document libraries are searched. [By
default and without any changes to the standard search function].
