Is there a way to display a list of subsites on the home
page?

I can add a link to the subsites page, but I cannot get
the subsites to actually be listed on the home page.

I have frontpage 2003 and wss 2003 - I can deal with code
if I am pointed in the right direction.

Thanks, Megan

There's a webpart called Lead-it Navigation
http://weblogs.asp.net/jan/archive/2004/04/26/120508.aspx

Of the non standard free web parts I've found so far, definately my
favourite. It's sensitive to the current user's permissions, so only
displays what they have access to. If you're the administrator, you
can see the whole tree, so it makes it a lot easier to keep tabs on
what sites have been created than going through the site admin pages.
It's also been very reliable.

Check out http://wss.collutions.com/Lists/FAQ/DispForm.aspx?ID=257 for
some free web parts. There are some commercial ones available as well.

The one that 'les' mentioned is listed there (as LeadIt Essentials) and
there's also a more recent one (Navigation something) that the author of
LeadIt Essentials has said is good (in his blog).
