Hi,

I have windows 2003 small business server and we are using team services for
15 people. The PC has 80 Gigs of space partiant (20 Gigs C: and 60 Gigs D:).
I am running out of space on C drive. I would like to sharepoint to use the
D drive for storage. How can do that? What is the best way to redirect or
migrate??? I am using MSDE and not SQL

Thanks

Install the admin utilities of MSDE and move the datafiles of Sharepoint to
the D drive. To ensure you move the right database, go the central
administration page -> virtual server settings -> choose the virtual server
where sharepoint is located -> click on 'manage content database' -> write
down the name of this database.

Thanks Robin, I have one small issue. Where would I get 'Admin Utilities of
MSDE'. The 2003 server has pre-installed by Dell. Is that a download from
MS?

Note this WSS FAQ item

http://wss.collutions.com/Lists/FAQ/DispForm.aspx?ID=213

both for moving WMSDE to another location (a reference to a KB article) and
for telling the install to create WMSDE on a different drive.

Check
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/prodinfo/previousversions/msde/downloads-default.mspx for the webadmin tools.

On a nonlegal note : you can install the clients tools from SQL Server 2000 :)
