I screwed up!!!

While performing maintenance on another virtual server, I
inadvertently deleted a WSS web site in IIS. I still have the
application pool and SQL DB but I need to recover the web portion.
This server was not being backed up since it wasn't "supposed" to be
in production yet but some engineers decided to open it up to external
vendors and put a lot of data on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I think you can just set it up again in IIS, then re-extend the site. You
need to set it up with a new, temporary content DB, then remove that DB and
add the old DB again in SP Central Admin.
