I have someone who deleted a task list in Sharepoint. I restored the
database to our staging site and want to copy it over to the production
site. Is there a way to do this? I can't just restore the site in
production because there's too much other information that has already been
changed

Thanks!

I can't remember. Is Task List one of the list types where "with
content" is greyed out when you do Save List as Template ?

Otherwise that would be the way to move it.

I don't see any option for Save List As Template. Where do you see that?
When I go to Documents and Lists, it shows my list and all I can do is click
on it and it shows me the data in the list. On the left, I can export the
data out, but I can't see any way to import it back in.

Thanks!

Ok, I found that option, but you are correct, the "Include Content" is
grayed out.

Ok, It's grayed out in my staging site, but active when I created a test
task list in my production environment. So it looks like it can be done.
Perhaps it's a permissions issue? I am an admin of the site and the list
itself, though

Thanks

Open the List and go to Modify Settings in the left hand column.

Save List as Template is then an option.
