Change Modifiy date to 'Date Picture taken'

Since the Picture gallery does not know how to read the MetaData in the JPG,
(Date Picture Taken) does anyone know of a way to change the Modified date
of a file to be the Date the Picture was taken?

The Program I use to Make the 8MP images web friendly changes the Modified
date to the date I exported them, so the order the Pictures is pretty
random.

Any Suggestions?
