This question may be too advanced for most, but I thought I would give it a
shot:

We have an existing site on a Windows 2003 Server running the latest WSS. It
is not running in Active Directory Account Creation Mode.
We would like to run our server in Active Directory Account Creation Mode.
Also, our disk array is quickly running out of room, so we must create a new
build of our operating system enviornment anyway.

What is the easiest or suggested method of backing up our WSS enviornment so
that we may run AD Account creation mode and restore it on a new server?

Thanks in advance.

Back your site collections up with STSADM. Rebuild your server. Restore
you site collections with STSADM.
