Hi,

I have a bunch of meeting rooms that can be booked via a SharePoint event
calendar. Each meeting room has its own calendar and requires approval by a
content manager. I want to avoid users from adding an event on a date/time
that is already booked. Is there any way of achieving this?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I have a similar issue that I am not sure how to handle. I have a single
calendar for reserving vehicles and have created various views of the
calendar to show it on a per-vehicle basis, as well as for all vehicles. I
am not sure how to control the entry of events so that a vehicle cannot be
reserved for two events on the same day. Also, is there a way to default the
title of the event to be the name of the resource that was selected
(basically the data from another field)?

Thanks,
Chanda
