Can someone confirm if this is a bug?

Here are the steps
1. Create an announcements list
2. Create a "assignedperson" column in the new announcements list (allow
multiple people)
3. Create a view on the announcments list with filter set to
"assignedperson=[Me]"
4. Set an alert and choose this view in the "Send me an alert when:" section

When I use only myself in the assignedperson field, I get the alert
When I assign myself and someone else, the item displays properly in the
view, but the alert is not sent.

Can anyone confirm this is a bug.

Does anyone know if Microsoft is reading these groups everyday?

Hi,

I couldn't reproduce the problem as I don't know what column did you choose
in step 2 (didn't see anything like assignedperson)
Anyway if this was a known bug and resolution has been found and published
installing the newest hotfix package should be enough to get rid of it.
If this is 'be design' then you can't do much...
But to confirm if this is a bug or not you would eventually have to open a
case at MS helpdesk and let them analyze/confirm it.

Cheers,
Anja
