Just a quick question.
If i have a list where I set the Item-Level Security such as:
Read Access: Only thier own
Edit: Only thier own
I wouldn't be able to subscribe for alerts even though I'm the
administrator. I got an error saying that I "couldn't create alerts for
lists for which users can only read thier own items".
Here are my situation right now. I need a list where I need people able to
add the item in the list. However, as the list is supposed to be P&C, I neeed
to ensure user would only able to view thier own listing and edit thier own
listing. They can't view what other people add in the list. Only the
administrator has the full view of the list.
How can I achieve this and also get alerted everytime people add into the
item.
Any idea?
