All I really want to do is add some html code that people
can join a newsletters.

But it seems like no matter what I try, Sharepoint pages
don't like the form.

No errors. It just does not work.

If I create the page all by itself elsewhere it works
just fine for subscriptions.

I'm just trying to figure out how I can get the form code
on the main page of my teamsite and have it work. It
doesn't seem like you can add form code to pages as
easily as I thought using FrontPage 2003.

Hi.

I saw this also. When you have any SharePoint list component or form on the
page, you can't add the normal form. Here is the small trick. Make a html
form in a new page, say "newsletter.htm". Then in the page you want to
include the subscription form use page viewer web part to view the
"newsletter.htm" in the page. That worked for me.

Hope that helps.
