We want to make it simple for some users that are dragging their heels on adding content to our site so I was
wondering if it's possible to create some sort of a template area that when you "create" the subarea it
already has "predefined" subareas and webparts added to them, so all the people have to do is go to it and add
their content.

Is it possible? if so, how?

Or, is it possible to create a subarea like I want it (with predefined subareas and webparts), then copy and
paste it?

As in my answer to your next identical posting, this is not a WSS question
and shouldn't be posted to the WSS newsgroup.

Mike

Seems to me like Meg is posting in SharePoint Portal Server admin and
SharePoint portal Server development.

I thought these were SPS newsgroups.

Therefore why your comment re not a WSS question?????????

Mike it seems that even though Meg is posting to SPS newsgroups it is
appearing on wss newsgroups as well, as I added my comment to your reply on
the SPS admin newsgroup and it appear here on the WSS newsgroup as well.

Strange

Not strange at all, she posted to a massive list of newsgroups that
*included* the WSS newsgroup (along with all the SPS ones).

The SPS guys can police her multi-posting to all their newsgroups if they
want, I'm just trying to keep the WSS newsgroup free of stuff that rely on
SPS 2003 being present - most people reading the WSS newsgroup don't have
SPS 2003.
