Hi,

I met trouble when I tried to save some files after
revision. One message box popped up and said " Cannot save
file,. The file may be in use by another application".
Much worse, this file sometimes would be lost when I open
this projec next time. It seemed inexplicably disappeared
from my folder.

Any help is highly appreciated!

Jeff

I've frequently seen that error. I normally just try saving again. It
almost always saves on the second try, and if not, on the third.

Jeff,

It almost always happens to me when saving files in middle of project build,
and as James said second/third time it always works.

Do you run a virus scanner? I have empirical evidence that that error seems
to occur in the presence of Norton Anti-Virus.

Could very well be, I have the same problem and have Norton installed...

I have this problem and since I reloaded my computer sans NAV I haven't
experienced it. This isn't conclusive evidence, but it does seem to
indicate something.

When I did have te problem I simply continued and it saved it anyway so the
error seemed a bit nebulous to me.
