During compiling or saving occsainally we get "filename.cpp does not exists. Do you want to overwrite with new one"
In fact earlier saved copy is lost

We have vc6.0 with sp 5

I don't think it's a problem with vc6 sp5. Seems as if you had the cpp in
your project that vc can't find. Normally this is caused by wrong directory.
Do you have moved your files somewhere else? There should be the origin
saved copy.

It happened with Norton's program scanning the disc background.
If you have automatic cirus scan installed, try some oprions off,
and if the same problem happens.
