Can anyone shed any light on the - error PRJ0019: A tool returned an error
code from "Performing Custom Build Step"

What might this "build step" be?

I'm trying to build a VC 6 project in VC7 and I think that may have
something to do with it.

Thanks

john

This means that one of the steps in a custom build returned a code that VC
thinks is an error. You can open your Project Settings and look under
Custom Build Step or maybe it is from a file specified in your project. Did
the VC6 project contain a help project? It could possibly be this.
