Hi,

maybe this is the wrong newsgroup for my posting, but I couldnt find any
better, so sorry in advance.
I am searching The MS Windows XP SP1 DDK, which is on the MS page only
available by ordering a CD. I remember, that in former times I could
download the DDK from the internet. Is that not possible any longer?

Thanks in advance
Julia

In general - no, I don't think so. I think that you have to order a CD and
pay for shipping and handling (about 25 bucks in the US).

On the other hand, if you are an MSDN subscriber, and if your subscription
includes the DDKs, you _may_ be able to download it as MSDN makes most
(all?) of its content available to its subscribers online.

Will

They're only shipping the new DDK. Don't know why
but I had to order a CD as well.

Apparently not,
http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/ddk/winddk.mspx

We will not be offering the Windows Server 2003 DDK as a download on the
WHDC Web site. However, it is part of the standard MSDN® subscription
download and is included with MSDN subscriptions, starting with the April
2003 edition.
