Hi,

I would like to know how can I install printers if:
i) I know the IP of all printers and all of them are not connected to print
servers.
ii) The drivers are all at stored at the a network drive

Thanks in advance.

hi

add local printer without plug and play detect -> new port ; tcp -> driver.

Hi,

Thanks for your kindly reply first.

I am afraid that I have a wrong expression about my question. I want to
clearify a bit. My network has several printers connect directly to the
switch, which meaning each of these printers has it own IP and doesn't has
any printer servers. I would like to know if I can write a VBS to install and
configurate all the printers at one instant.

If so, could any one can provide me some hits about how to write it? Or even
some sample code for me to take a look?

Thanks anyway.
