Hi

I noticed that there is a
"microsoft.public.programming.scripting.vbscript" group. There seemed
to be no messages. I saw somewhere that those "programming" are
prefererred or you get answers there. I have no problems with this
group and Google supports only it too, so I really have no choice. But
does someone know more of this.

I never heard of that newsgroup. I see it has very low activity (8 messages
so far this year). It is not listed as one of the choices in my news reader.
It is not listed on the Microsoft web site as one of their newsgroups.

The two newsgroups I know of for VBScript are:

microsoft.public.scripting.vscript
microsoft.public.scripting.wsh

There are a few other microsoft.public.scripting.* groups. Some scripting
questions are posted to:

microsoft.public.server.scripting
microsoft.public.adsi.general

and elsewhere, depending on the scripting task.
