All. I have a startup script that runs on Windows XP Clients to install
software when the computer starts up. Basically it's a batch file that runs
the install command and parameters specific to each computer. This worked
justed fine when the script resided on our Windows 2000 File server. We have
upgraded the file server to WIndows 2003 Server.

Now when the script runs I get ACCESS IS DENIED errors. I have added the
'domain computers' group to the NTFS share permissions on the folder where
the script and software reside. I have even added 'Everyone' (Full Control)
to the folders with the same result.

Something has changed in W2k3 as far as shares / permissions for startup
scripts or local system access but I dont know what. Anyone have any
suggestions?

Also, my script will work fine if I host it to a Win2K server. But i really
need it to run from my W2k3 server.

TIA.
