If you think you have been infected with a virus or trojan but are unsure how
far the infection has spread, the safest thing to do is format and reinstall.

It may seem drastic, but that is the safest option and the only way to get
your system back to a known, safe state.

Andy.

Firewall - Zonealarm - good and fre
AntiVirus - AVG -good and fre
Update Windows - Good and fre
Spyware Remover - adaware - good and fre

Get and turn on the above and you'll be a lot closer to having a more secure P

Formatting will remove absolutely everything from the hard drive. Spyware,
trojans and viruses (with the possible exception of some boot sector viruses)
will all be removed, along with everything else.
