when installing av my internet stops running

hi

i m trying to install symantec av on my windows xp but after i install it my
internet stops working (no page display message) when i remove the av
everything works as usuall, i tried installing other av and the outcome was
the same, what do i have to do?

Since it happens with more than one antivirus program, was the computer
clean before you tried to install an av? If you are unsure, follow the
malware removal steps here:

Start by running Sysclean and then the non-viral malware removers. Then
try your av.

Do the AV programs include a firewall?? If they do you may need to disable
the firewall part if you do not need it or configure it to allow internet
