Does anyone know if www.websearch.com is credible? They
have weaseled their way into
get installed as part of my explorer browser. They appear
to represent themselves as part
of MS Explorer. When I try to uninstall websearch, it
requires that I am on the network.
Sounds bogus to me.

Also, is there some sort of trojan horse that takes over
windows automatic update?
I get frequent popups telling me there is a security patch
available. But when I
go directly to windowsupdate.microspft.com, there is no
such update. I disabled the
automatic update to stop the popups.

BTW - I maintain Antivirus and XP security updates
regularly.
