I received a security alert from a company named engima to
download a program to remove spyware from my computer. How
do I find out if this is a download I can trust? The alert
read that they found spyware on my computer.
Thank you for your help.

I would guess no.
Reputable companies do not normally come to you in that way.

Hi Charley,

If the "alert" was in the form of a spam e-mail, then they know as much
about your computer as they know the length of your penis. You will miss out
on nothing by ignoring all e-mail advertisments.
