someone gave my e-mail adress away & i know who!!!!

I have a co. that i was trying to do busness with ant
thave not done ther part of the contrack. they keep
saying the it will work but it will not. they clame that
it will and even when they are on line trying to trouble
shot it will not work.

this person has given my e-mail adress to the pron web
site. i hav as of to day receved over 5000 porn e-mail my
granddarter which helps me with the buisness i can not
let her retreave me e-mail anymore.

i can not change my e-email adress for it will cost me
1000s for new letter head, cards, and adress accounts but
if this keeps up i may have to.

the last time i talked to the they put my e-mail adress
on a spam list so know i can not even get in to talk to
them.

Newsgroups work in public, in the groups, rather than via email.

There are pretty effective spam filters available these days. Anybody care
to suggest their favorite? Mine is something called
SpamPal--www.spampal.org, but it is somewhat old-fashioned, and doesn't do
bayesian without an add-in.

well, welcome to the internet. you just posted your address in a mail
message so now you can also expect more junk mail and virus mailings. time
for a good mail filter and make sure your anti-virus scanner is up to date
also.

But it works with the Bayesian add-in on my machine. In fact, the
Bayesian plugin has produced better results than the built-in Regex
filter and it was faster.

There's another fine free Bayesian filter avaliable at
http://popfile.sourceforge.net/
