does anyone know for sure what this process is? i have
found online that it is anything from a trojan to a USB
driver for Napster(most likely). if anyone knows for
sure i would appreciate a response. thank you.

Or to actually answer the question:
SM1bg.exe is the "Cypress USB Mass Storage Adapter" from "Cypress
Semiconductor and is harmless. It can be removed.
