security update 823559 windows me

everytime i try to install this security update it fails,
any ideas would be helpfull. i am using windows me.

ps the update dowloads fine, it just wont install.

If this is the IE + Media Player installer the same thing
is happening to me. I'm on XP Pro and up to date with
other patches. It just freezes, and has broken by Media
Player - I can't listen to WAV files. MICROSOFT YOU HAVE
TO FIX THIS. But i'm not going to call you and pay for
support. Read this and fix it.
