I cant seem to find the free MS security patch contact
info site.
Maybe you all can help...:s
Has anybody noticed as to whether or not the new critical
security vulnerability patches (regarding the MS03-037
alert) have any conflicting order of install when it comes
to multiple ms products and/or multiple versions. for
example, if i have access 97 with office 2000 installed
and i install the VBE patch on access 97 if it will have
any conflictions with the VBE patching being done to the
Office 2000 apps.
also, does anybody know how to refernce KIX Code that will
determine what products are installed on the PC so i can
get KIX to install all of the patches via NT4 network on
multiple PC's. Is it done through an install log etc?
Thanks in advance

Hi,

To pick up security patches from MIcrosoft, go to either:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com, or
http://www.microsoft.com/security.

There should not be any conflict in the order of
installation. I believe the binary is the same, but the
installation methods are different to ensure the
appropriate registry/cab files are updated to indicate
the new binary is installed.
