I and my friend share her computor, and we know that (1)
it's been attempted to be hacked at least twice by
someone we know and (2) we know that the individual is
getting into our email accounts. There is a good security
system on her machine, but the guy seems to know our
passwords, how can he find out when we don't even tell
eachother our passwords???
Is he able to get the passwords for hotmail somehow?
PLEASE HELP!!!

If you know who it is, as you say, then I see two options:

1. A baseball bat
2. Report the person to somebody relevant.

I tend to like #1, but #2 is probably more legal.

But the question needs to be asked, how do you "know" that he knows your
passwords,...how do you "know" he is getting into your email? There has to
be more to this story.

It's pretty easy for someone (the person you suspect in
your case) to install a keylogger on that computer if they
had physical access to it. (A keylogger records strokes,
so if you type in anything, including your password, he
would always know it.) Did this person use the computer
him/herself and was this person left alone at that
computer where you don't know what /she/he did or didn't
do on it?
