hi, I use AVG free version in regular mode. I can NOT use it in safe mode. I
also have the sysclean from trend micro that I have used in the past because
one can use it in safe mode. But, the scan usually takes more than an hour,
though if it does the job, I wouldn't mind.
Still, I would like to see if anyone out there has another (free perferably)
AV program that they recommend to use in safe mode. that way, if I am short
on time and can't use Sysclean, I can use that one.
Note: I have stinger too. but, would like to get another one that I can
enable only in safe mode. WIll use AVG all the other times. thanx

Please note that Sysclean is a limited tool used for initial cleaning,
*not* a full-featured antivirus. It is normally only used when cleaning
up an infected machine.
