It most likely is the same. The most important system files are in the
\windows folder. If you have not done such yet make sure that you have
updated your antispyware program to the latest definitions from the vendors
website. Also you may want to try AdAware SE that is free and works very
well. Often it helps to try more than one spyware removal program. You
certainly do not sound like an idiot - just someone looking for direction
from those who have a bit more experience than themselves in a particular
