I use adaware and everytime I run it there are about 10 cookies that keep
appearing, I check them and have them removed but when I run adaware again,
they are back. How do I get rid of cookies completely, never having them
return again?

Change the settings of Internet Explorer so that it handles cookies the way
you want?

I personally wouldn't care too much about cookies found by ad-aware. Usually
these are not very bad. Most of the time the worst these do are track what
web sites you and millions of other people visit [or what pages on a
particular web site you access], but without tracking your name or who you
specifically are.

If it bothers you, you might want to consider using spybot search and
destroy and click on the Immunize feature. There are also hosts files such
as one at www.mvps.org that will probably prevent these cookies from
appearing, by preventing all access to known advertising domains.

I use IE Privacy Keeper to prevent unwanted cookies from hanging around on
my computer. It's free and works great.

Margaret
