I need to know how to password protect a folder located
on my desktop. I went into properties but was unable to
find the correct method. Please get back to me ASAP.

Thank you

Which version of Windows? If it's 95, 98 or ME, you'll struggle - better to
put the files in a Winzip archive with a password, or use applications like
Word to protect individual files.

In NT, 2000 and XP you'd set permissions for specific users or groups to
which users belong. In larger systems you'd put the folder in a "resource"
group and give appropriate permissions to "user" groups.
