I screwed up my company supplied laptop by tring to set it
up for home internet use. I went into the System Setting
and set it for home use. Now I get a screen that comes up
during start up that says "admin" and it wants a password.
My user password no longer works and I can't get back into
the control panel to reset it back the way it was.

Any ideas how to log on?

If it was not your computer then you should not have messed with it. That
was very irresponsible. You really should take it into your company and let
your Tech there fix it. Chances are they will overlook this indiscrepancy
and not fire you. I would not mess with it further or you may cause, yet,
more problems and make it even worse.
