If it was a "free" Hotmail email address, it's probably
gone from your control forever. If it was a paid one,
contact Hotmail Customer Service to retrieve the account.

In the future, make a strong password (with lower-cased
and upper-cased letters, numbers, and symbols like & and
%) and make sure the secret answer to the secret question
is also a strong password as I have described above.

It is possible to get your Hotmail account back; check out the advice at the

If you ever get it back,...don't use "real" answers to the secret
question,...for example

Q: What is oldest son's name
A: Tammy (which would be the daugter's name)

Just remember the "logic" you used in the question so that you don't forget
it. These questions must be treated as carefully as if they were the
password,...because in a "round-about" way,...they are.
