I'm so depressed. I'm 27 years old; no college degree; no
job; about to lose my car (that's actually breaking down
badly) since I don't have any money to pay the car
insurance; I only have $500 left to my name; I live at
home with family who have no money themselves; I have bad
rhinitis and throat problems that causes me to have bad
breath so I don't even have the self-esteem or confidence
to talk to people or enjoy the simple pleasure of a kiss
from a female; and I'm at a loss as to what to do with my
life, career-wise.

After you seek professional help, you should apply at McDonald's.
Then, go back under your bridge and get ready for your next trolling
session.

Thank you for replying, Aquaviva. I was in a major
depression last night and in all honesty, still am, but I
don't know what caused me to write here of all places.

I have to respectfully disagree with you; although I'm
quite good with Photoshop, I've been to monster.com and
all the graphic art jobs there ask for some type of
college degree and/or experience. I live in the States
(United) and believe me, it's not easy getting a nice
career job without any type of college degree. I have been
to college but I left after a year because I could not for
the life of me find something I wanted to major in.

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement; it's nice
of you to take time out to give me a glimmer of hope.
Besides my career problems (or lack thereof), as I
mentioned in my last post, my health is bad, and I just
feel like a trapped rat sometimes with no way out.

Thank you for replying, not yet. As I mentioned in my last=20
post to someone else, I was in a major depression last=20
night (still am), but I don't know what caused me to write=20
here of all places.

Although I am agnostic, I do not "speak" to my Creator,=20
nor am I religious (as a result of being agnostic).=20
However, I respect your beliefs and I thank you=20
respectfully for your words of encouragement and hope.=20

Sometimes I feel like it's not over, because I've seen and=20
read of other people who have had it worse than me and=20
came back to do great things with their lives, so those=20
are the stories of inspiration that sometimes help me keep=20
going. Besides my career problems (or lack thereof), as I=20
mentioned in my last post, my health is bad, and I just=20
feel like a trapped rat sometimes with no way out.

I appreciate your conflicts and depression.
This is not the proper forum for your discussion of=20
depression, consult your doctor, or some professional
who can give you personal advice. in your local area
call the crisis line!

Typical response.
This person is a troll, seeking attention by negitive
postings, good advice was given, your choice to take it.

Take your moronic whining about how life is treating you
to someone who gives a stinky fart!
This is a professional forum dealing with issues regarding
microsoft.public.security , not your pathetic slack jawed,
drooling excuses for not doing what you need to do.
Don't waste any more of our precious time, get off your
butt and do the work yourself!
Geeze, always someone blaming others when they need to
look in the mirror and see who is exactly to blame for
their problems, bad decisions, your problem, bad habits,
your problem.

I bet you blame the cop who stops you for speeding, and
writes you a ticket.

sgopus said nothing offensive. Someone implying suicide needs to be urged
to look somewhere else than a Usenet newsgroup for computer issues [as
sgopus did] to avoid things going badly wrong.

All Usenet newsgroups have guidelines as to what is on and off topic. The
topic being discussed is in the very name of the newsgroup. People posting
to Usenet have a responsibility to know and respect this fact before
posting.

Not only is it disrespectful to the denizens of the newsgroup to post
off-topic messages, it's also counter-productive to the poster. To take
this case as an example, it's highly unlikely that you'll find any trained
counsellors or life coaches here, let alone anyone trained in talking
someone down from a potential suicide attempt.
