The following articles describe this feature, which is for safety.
WARNING: The first two articles present a workaround that involves disabling
the *entire* attachment protection mechanism; I recommend you do *not* use
that method. The third article describes a much more granular (and safer) way
to deal with the problem...
REMEMBER, though, all the file types listed in the "dangerous" list carry the
potential to mess you up if you're not careful. Think twice before bypassing
any of them!
