Does anyone know how to stop Outlook Express
from 'blocking access to attachments' that come through
with emails. Its blocking attachments it thinks are
unsafe but which in fact are important documents I need
to read!!!

Thank you

Tools->Options
Security Tab
Uncheck 'Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could
potentially be a virus'.

This is turned on by default by IE 6.0 SP1.

I use IEAK to generate IE6.0SP1 kits with all intranet proxy/pop3/smtp
server addresses predefined, and this has an option to enable or disable
that feature. Regardless of my chosen setting, it's on by default,
which kind of fails to save as much time as I'd hoped when I roll out
new IE6 versions.

Hence, I'm rolling out Mozilla instead.
