You could start by telling us what version of the OS and IE you have.

Tim,
SpyBot targets "mysearch" - Cite:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/threats/289.html
Download and run HijackThis from this site:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
Post your "HijackThis" log in one of the suggested Forums listed.

HTH & good luck.
Silj

Thanks Silj
The problem that I have is that the program is not being deregistered from
the add/remove progs folder. I think that the prog is not on my system
anymore because I have run all of the recommended removal tools. This is the
error message I get when I try to remove the entry from add/remove error
loading C:\Progra~1\Myway\Srchasst\2.bin\mysrchass.dll and the prog refuses
to be deinstalled, what can I do about this?

Tim,
The Spyware program needs special removal expertise.
Download and run HijackThis >
<http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.exe>
_ Follow these instructions how to create and save a scan log _
<http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm>

*Post* the log here: <http://forum.aumha.org/viewforum.php?f=30>
Or here: <http://forums.spywareinfo.com/index.php?showforum=18>

Please post back "where" you've posted your log so that I check-up
on it.

Regards,
Silj

You're more than welcome, Tim, the follow-up log you posted today looks
clean save the "NVIDIA driver helper service" which I advised you stop, still
seems to be enabled. This is not a huge worry for the moment but you should
make an effort to disable *that* service only sometime soon.

I shall post my comments shortly.

Cheers and Happy Christmas from Canada!
