Hi this may be a naive question......

Does Microsoft have a publicly accessable list of programs
from the outside world that it authorizes to use without
problems on machines with different microsoft OS.

I think that someone should do this and give it a rating,

like 1* causes major problems when using on a windows
machine....details etc.

or

3* tested with all versions of windows and no problems
found.

I think someone should rate all the third party software
not just the big name commercial companies.

Not a bad idea. However, I fear, it would only add to the
monumental list of frivolous lawsuits already jaming the
courts. Worse yet, it might fall under the realm of a new
government agency.
