I have to reboot my computer, but not my high speed cable
modem. This may happen several times an hour or less. I
do not have to be accessing the Internet for this to
happen.
Is anyone aware of a patch for this or does anyone know
how I can email support to find out if there is an update?

It may not be the computer. I have a Linksys that would lose the Internet
connection if left on overnight while the computers were shut down. It is in
its box; it will serve, in a pinch, if the current router falls over.

well, this would not seem to be a security problem since you are most secure
when you are off the internet... maybe your computer is trying to tell you
something?

my recommendations... contact AOL first. then ask the question again in a
group that is dedicated to your operating system with aol problems.
