can anyone advise me as to why my computer has relentless
attacks every day, E-mails are leaving my computer to
people i dont even know and being returned as
undeliverable. I dont even send these e-mails.
The attacks are coming from a hotel in montreal canada.
I contacted the hotel and they say they have no idea
whats going on even though these attacks are coming from
their hotel.HELP!

Rather than saying "attacks"--can you say what symptoms you observe?

You mention "E-mails are leaving my computer....." Do you have any evidence
that these emails are actually coming from your computer, or are you simply
receiving bounce notices that have your name as the return address?

What antivirus product do you have installed? How current are the
definitions? When was your last scan of all files on your machine?

They could be bounces caused by a spammer forging your email address in his
spam run. I got over 200 such returns beginning June 1, 2003, to a yahoo.com
account. A couple of the bounces even had the original message, so I was
able to send complaints about the forgery; for whatever good that might have
done.

You do mean that the bounces are coming from the hotel, I presume. They
probably have a broken MTA. They should at least check that the envelope
sender address bears some resemblance to the message source IP address, and
drop those messages which look like forgeries, instead of bouncing them.
