When I send email about my link website to any more than 50 addresses at a
time, they don't seem to go through. Could this be a virus?

I'm sure that your ISP has blocked this. Maybe you should
take the hint and stop spamming people. It is unlikely
that anyone here will help someone who admits that he is a
spammer....

Looking at her profile,
http://profiles.yahoo.com/annie_250 she runs some yahoo
groups and yahoo does a very good job making sure
everyone is double opt-in. I hate spam too but this is
probably legit and do your research before you open your
big mouth. Your ISP is more than likely blocking large
amounts of emails to keep spam from coming from thier
users. Call your ISP and ask them what the max is you can
send out.

There is no such thing as "double opt-in"; except in what passes for a
spammer's mind. You never opt-in twice. A request to receive a periodical
mailing is not an "opt-in", it is merely a request. One "opts-in" upon
receipt of a confirmation that the request was, indeed, legitimate. One
"opt-in" per customer; no more.

You have no evidence to support your allegation.

Not a virus, but a limit imposed by your ISP to mitigate abuse. You need to
make sure that you send the email through a service designed to support
subscription mailing.
