There is no such thing as "double opt-in"; except in what passes for a
spammer's mind. You never opt-in twice. A request to receive a periodical
mailing is not an "opt-in", it is merely a request. One "opts-in" upon
receipt of a confirmation that the request was, indeed, legitimate. One
"opt-in" per customer; no more.
