Does anyone know if it is possible to remove debug.exe
from Win XP Pro. I have to remove attrib.exe and
debug.exe for security reasons (inmate access in a prison
setting). I can remove attrib by deleting both the file
and the autorestore file. Debug still auto-restores.
Any Suggestions???

Go for it. I think Microsoft keeps edlin.exe and debug.exe in Windows just
for fun.

I'd recommend looking at policy settings. If it's set up as a protected
system file, you want to disable access via policy rather than trying to
delete it.

I don't know this area very well, so I can't say whether this is possible or
not--but that's where I'd look.
