In need of assistance.
Just initiated a IE Group Policy to establish the proper security zones
for all our XP SP2 clients. Have placed our intranet webservers in the
trusted zone and set the security level to LOW. User logs into a web
app on these servers and an IE warning appears:

When you send information to the local intranet, it might be possible
for others to see that information. Do you want to continue?

[check box] In the future, do not show this message.

User checks the box clicks Yes on the "do not show this message again"
and the app opens.
User closes the app and then reopens
User receives the same warning.

Is there any way to disable this warning message? Have tried several
changes to the policy with no success.

Any help would be appreciated.

Jay

I am not fully knowlegable of all the settings in the vast IE adm templates,
but, what I would consider doing is running regmon from www.sysinternal.com
while doing the

Then, with knowledge of the reg key touched, I would search the text of
the IE adm template for similar, partial reg path (keep in mind that reg
settings
are with and without Policies as a level in the path). If the relevant reg
setting
can not be found in the IE adm tempate then one could always define a custom
adm template to carry it via GPO.

I would hope a few (in Redmond) are . . .

It reminds me however of the argument that software, as other
systems, can most easily find stability, veracity of implementation,
safety of design, etc. through simplicity.
(philosophic on the 4th I guess)
