i need to get into a site secured with a 128 bit version
of SSL. not sure my browser supports it. can't reach the
web address referred to (page won't open) How can I see if
my browser is adequate? or update it to waht I need?

You didn't mention what web browser you're using, so I can't give you exact
instructions, but I believe you can click on Help, About to find out your
current encryption strength of your browser. Posting the exact word for word
error message you're getting when you try to access the page is always a
good idea for any tech support question. If the problem is that your
browser is not at 128-bit encryption, see here:
